Funny story on this one. It was listed on the National Pastime's site (store that used to be on main street in Cooperstown) and I tried to buy it last summer. I paid through paypal and never got the glove so I had to file a claim. Got my money back without a problem. I've been watching the seller putting stuff up and knew it would come up eventually. Was excited to see it listed for 30 dollars less than the site. First 3 finger Gordon OK I've seen.

I was wondering if Brett was bidding on the OK brand 3 finger glove. Seemed like a pretty nice one. Here is the end view of the Bon Tober glove box Murph posted. Seems like a pretty rare item.

Brett had mentioned that the store "National Pastime" in Cooperstown has closed. It is my personal belief that the reason for the closure was the high cost of Windex and the time involved in having to clean the glass after each of my visits. If broke my heart when I saw that it closed. Now it is a candy and gift type store, so instead of being my haunt, my wife now goes there!

Mike, I like this old Reach 2" sewn web. Good color and nice looking glove. That looks like it would be a good, comfortable glove to play with in a game.

Some years ago while my son was in Little League we would warm up, He with his Rawlings PRO12TC and me with my Rawlings MMP Mantle HOH. My son didn't have a clue how upscale his glove was. It helped having a father who was a glove collector and knew the ins and outs of ebay and getting nice gloves on the cheap. I just couldn't resist using the MMP occasionally because it had been broken in perfectly by the former owner(s) and was a joy to play with.

A vintage 1930's Reach glove sold for $124 on ebay. A well made glove and well played also. has some inner lining wear but the patch, piping and lacing are all intact. it looks like there is an endorsement along the pinky finger. I thought I saw a B...R... but it could be wishful thinking or just the creases of the leather. I have never had any luck with that type of gamble on ebay. The endorsement could just as easily be "Sparky Adams".

A very nice circa 1938 Ken Wel "Paul Dean" model 562 glove sold on ebay for $71. The glove was one of Ken Wel's best gloves, just below the 560 Pro model. This model has some of the features of the 560 Pro but not the laced fingers.

A striking D&M catchers mitt circa 1910-15 sold for $63 on ebay. I wish I remembered to be online for this one. Quite a bargain in my opinion. In great shape inside and out with a perfect cloth patch. Square top design, Riveted wrist opening.
