Here is one that sneaked through earlier in the month on ebay. A Wilson 1920's-30's buckle web and buckle back "Phil Todt" model basemitt. Despite the blurry photo, this is a super nice mitt. One bid at $95 won it. unbelievable!!! What a great find for a resourceful bidder. Still 10 days to go, but in my opinion, this is top mitt for "find of the month"

Nice McGregor Bobby Thomson glove with the trademark "Spider Web" . Really love that feature on McG's. Some of the McG's also had the reverse button placement. They made some great gloves in that period. This model went for $62 on ebay. Great retelling of the "Shot heard round the world" in Don Delillo's book "Underworld". The author put me right there in the stands and on the field. That section alone almost worth price of the book.

A near mint Cy Young glove. Looks to be a Hutch model with a 1" web. A little different from the tunnel loop webs I've seen. A stellar facsimile autograph pushed this one to $621 on ebay

An early Reach full web. Great looking cloth patch and button. Looks like good quality leather. Leather piping in great shape. Back side is a lot better than the well used front. Could be why it only brought $91 on ebay.

Near mint 1950's Rawlings "Cy Perkins" model. Beautiful blond leather with everyone's favorite Rawlings "black cloud" patch. Patented pinky snugger adjustment from way back in 1925. Inventor Harry Latina did some awesome work for Rawlings. This mitt went for $204 on ebay.

Two mitts not meeting reserve. The first is a rare 1920-30's Stall & Dean buckle back and buckle web basemitt. This one also had the "decker" fingerguard. All the ink on the back and the $225 reserve were a big hurdle for this well used mitt. Nice vintage cloth pach. The mitt has a lot of style. Re-listed on ebay at $200 starting bid.

The second mitt is an immaculate 1950's Rawlings TM60 "Whitey Lockman" model. Really great patina to the leather, a lot of silver in the factory stampings and a perfect cloth patch. Couldn't meet the $125 reserve. Re-listed at $75 reserve

Hopefully August is full of some nice new additions to our collections! As always please feel free to add to stuff that I have missed throughout the month! Im doing this from work rt now so Im unable to associate the photos, ill get those up later!

First off is a Rick Ferrell Reach Catchers Mitt starting bid $199 and no bids! I find that slightly odd as we haven't seen that many Ferrell's pop up on ebay.

Not a glove on too many want lists. This 1950's Rawlings G900 "Tom Tresh" model brought $175 on ebay. Lightly used , near mint condition. Interesting "Paul Bunyan Leather" stamping on the wrist strap. Glove displays nicely with a light tan leather and a lot of silver factory stamping.

Circa 1920 D&M mitt stated as being "pre-owned" in it's ebay listing. Just like my 1997 Saturn SL1 sedan in the driveway. This mitt is a little worn but has got a lot of style. The grommet web is always a nice feature. Brought $90 on ebay

Here is one a fellow glover brought to my attention: The 1950 Wilson classic two-finger "Top Notch" model fielders glove. Real high quality and in nice shape. I owned one of these years ago. Took me a while to find this exact model. Love the bold Wilson cloth patch and button. Surprisingly big glove for being a two finger model. There were a lot of bids on this popular glove. Sold for $240 on ebay
