A 1930's Marathon "Mule Haas" model sold for $60 on ebay. I owned this model and can attest to the sellers description of the soft horsehide inside and out. This model was one of the softest gloves I ever owned and I loved the classic styling of the stubby fingers, large pocket and very large wrist opening. real solid construction with leather piping all around.

Not much shakin' on the high end front so here are a couple great gloves from the bargain bin.
First is a circa 1954 Rawlings "Zeke Zarilla" model G800 glove in good condition for $17.50 This one will clean up real nice

Third is an unusual 3 finger "Black Diamond" model for $8.50. Interesting seam running across the pocket joining the thumb seam.

A 1" web Wards brand glove sold for $100 on ebay. In nice shape overall with some of he original piping and stitching color still evident. I haven't seen a model number on the wrist strap before, if that is what the 4209 refers.

A nice 1950's Spalding "Sal Maglie" model 1061 sold for $25 on ebay. Top of the line in its day. Pre-formed pocket lacing. Diagonal lacing on the thumb is part of the V-Anchored web, a sure sign of a quality made glove.

Close to near mint 1940's Ol Reliable "Frank Hayes" model M28 sold for $43 on ebay. Just a light bit of ink mars a stellar mitt.

Another near mint catchers mitt, this time a 1950's Spalding "Yogi Berra" All Star Model sold for $100 on ebay. A mid level quality mitt at best but the picture pocket with elaborate stampings and superb condition brought a good price.

A 1950 top of the line MacGregor Goldsmith "Babe Young" model 150 sold for $43 on ebay. Eschewing the "Snare " web, this model features the "trapper" design. Really solid and well built.

I wish I was a little more attentive for this 1920's Rawlings glove on ebay. It sold for $50. My fathers glove is a 1920's Rawlings model 60 so I have a fondness for this era with the tunnel loop web, large wrist opening and intricate "shield" style cloth patch and button. A quality glove with all leather piping. I think the glove will clean up better than the pictures indicate.

A 1940's OK Brand "Bobby Doerr" "Famous Player Model" sold for $85 on ebay. the glove is in super condition. The brand was not specified in the sellers description but I recognized the webbing from an earlier OK glove posted.

Two great looking gloves from doomsdaydefense. First is a 1930's Reach model OOW that sold for $86 on ebay. Super condition, nice patina to the leather.

Second is a 1930's Lowe & Campbell "Danny McFadden" model A18 that sold for $90 on ebay. Again in super condition with a classic buckle back style. Great looking patch!

A circa 1950 Macgregor Goldsmith "Bob Doerr" model XG and box sold for $136 on ebay. Top of the line glove in its day with silver left on the face and nice cloth patch. Price seems very reasonable.

A 1950's MacGregor "Willie Mays" G25 model sold for $124 on ebay. I've owned this model and have seen some later versions that have a more modern look to them. This glove really has that classic 1950's aura.

Second is my favorite Wilson A2000, the "Catfish Hunter" model A2005 that sold for $127 on ebay. Again in near mint condition

Third is a Rawlings "Tony Conigliaro" model XPG26 that sold for $131 on ebay. Great looking and classic XPG style. The dark re-lacing doesn't do much for me, draws attention away from the leather.

A 1930's KenWel "Harry Gumbert" model 564 sold for $56 on ebay. Really a stylish model with the double button wrist strap. Glove is still in good shape with some silver left in the markings.

A circa 1920 1"web Spalding "Club Special" did not meet a $325 reserve. This is the same glove that sold at Hunt Auctions on Feb. 16, 2011 for $130. It has been cleaned up some since the Hunt Auction.

A 1940's Rawlings "Improved George Sisler" model sold for $62 on ebay. Not quite as sought after as the early Rawling's model but this is still a real nice looking mitt.

A 1940's Globe "Jimmie Foxx" model sold for $214 on ebay. The markings are real strong in the pocket.
