Could it be a softball glove? Kind of a big buckle for a crescent pad. Just wondering. hope I'm wrong for whoever paid the 212.00

Lets start Sunday with some silliness. Bob McCann sold this handmade glove for $66. Like an archaeological dig, One would want to carefully expose the construction layer by layer. I looked this one over quite a bit and still couldn't completely figure it out. It's a pretty crude glove with a unique concoction of lacing, webbing and straps. I liked it. I'm pretty sure peyote was involved.

A circa 1928 grommet web KenWel "Eppa Rixey" model glove sold for $455. It's made from wine colored Kenoko Elk leather and in beautiful original condition. It is a well made midline model without the trademark KenWel patents. This one got a lot of bids and gives some insight into what works and what doesn't. Unlike 15 min. rule auctions, incremental bidding really doesn't fit the ebay time limit auctions. An exercise in futility for the bidder imo. The seller's gotta love it however.

Three really nice gloves popped up on ebay and were gone in a heartbeat. There has been such a dearth of nice ebay gloves lately that these stood out.
A Rawlings "Hack Wilson" "Cross Lace" model XL glove sold for $599. Just a fantastic survivor.

A white sewn web VWD model FSW "Big SIx" glove sold for $499. Under priced. They don't get much better.
