Not a big week on eBay. It does seem as if there are a number of mint gloves with boxes popping up. Also, plenty of excellent gloves in the $75-$125 range.

I recently saw the exact same JC Higgins Mantle model glove (but not as nice condition) for sale in a small, southern Ohio antique store. It is the only other one I have ever seen. The tag said $90, and the condition was a turn-off (a little rough, but might clean-up well), so I passed.
Maybe I should have picked that one up!
Interestingly, the Catalog Source Book does list a Higgins Mantle with a model number of 1674, not 1673. I wonder if this is an uncataloged glove or, possibly, a typo in the Source Book?
