Rawlings PRO-12TL trap-eze

Postby ThirdBase24 » October 12th, 2007, 11:40 am

I have a Rawlings trap-eze glove model number PRO-12TL. I can't find any information about when it is from or what the "TL" stands for - I thought TC was trap-eze/conventional back, but this also has a convention back. Anyone know anything about this glove? I have seen the PRO-12TC's go on ebay for quite a bit of money, and I was wondering if people are after this 12TL glove as well, or not...

thanks for any info!

Good chance its Tanned Leather. Leather a little softer than the popular USA Horween models

venturing strictly a guess. The "L" in the "TL" might mean light-weight leather. The back thumb area doesn't look like the normal Rawlings heart of the hide leather which is usually smooth. This has a wrinkled appearance and it might have been a lighter weight leather. Now the front, palm-side leather looks like normal Rawlings HOH leather and check out those very thick laces.
