Hello all! FLAG here with a question for all of you baseball mitt enthusiasts! I recently purchased this old Rawlings mitt. I noticed it says G19 on it; however, I cannot find that model anywhere. The guy I bought it from told me it was from the 20’s which I somewhat agree with, but I am not sure. Does this glove look familiar to any of you? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated in advance! Thank you all for your time.

The Glove Source Book lists the Rawlings G19 as a Junior Model. It appears in their catalog listings from 1935 to 1940. (The 1940 listing reads Junior Horsehide). Your glove is most likely a child's glove. Great looking label though.

Thank you for your speedy response. I know that some gloves were endorsed by players (at least for adult sized gloves), were the junior models endorsed as well? If so who was this endorsed by?

Some junior models were endorsed by many of them were not - the one you have was not endorsed.
