Brimfield Day 2 - May 9, 2007

Postby vintagebrett » May 9th, 2007, 1:03 pm

Another beautiful day to hit the show! Had some good luck this morning. I was able to find 2 nice bats - a H&B Louisville Slugger 40TC Ty Cobb model that measures 36 inches (!) and a Spalding Pro Finish with the name Jack Fournier stamped on the barrel. I know most of the Spalding gamers were hand turned but I'll have to look into this one. I also found an early black Reach 1B buckle back mitt and a nice MacGregor Gus Zernial G24. Dad was able to track down a Babe Ruth glove he got a lead on yesterday. That was it for today but we were happy!

Congrats Brett. Your Dad and you cleaned up! Were the prices cheap or fair (particularly the Ruth, Black 1st sacker, and Goslin bat  ?

The prices were fairly cheap except for the Ruth which my dad paid for. The other ones were cheaper than filling my Civic Hybrid full of gas. 8)
