and a man asked if I would be interested in a few baseball items.

A nice 1926 Rawlings CY perkins Catchers Mitt with Period Box

A Reach Fielders Glove, no model number found

and a Gehrig Bat

How long did it take to say YES? That Cy Perkins is fabulous, and the box too!!

after about a 5 minute conversation with the man which was all about the Gehrig bat. He had just said it was a catchers glove. So I left the office and made a 45 minute drive to meet him.

Funny thing is, he lived about 1/8 of a mile from Bob McCanns house and had found my number in an ad the ran over 2 years ago

Glove is now available on Ebay

Found the glove on Ebay, but i live in Canada eh.
