Bon Tober G18 sewn web glove

Postby vintagebrett » June 22nd, 2012, 12:16 pm

Just received this gorgeous Bon Tober model G18 black leather glove. It's very well made with leather piping and wool lining in the fingers. Stampings are visible but faded. Don't see too many quality Bon Tober gloves out there and this one fits into my New England collection perfectly.

Nice looking glove in good condition. I like the button. As I remember, wasn't the Bon Tober factory pretty close to you. There is another Bon Tober glove lising on ebay right now by a forum member.

Yes, they were made in Hartford, CT, just 20 mins south of me. They don't pop up too frequently and usually are cheaply made models or in poor shape. The leather on this one is thin, like a Stall & Dean model. It has a great feel on the hand.
