Your glove is a good quality model. There is leather piping and a cloth patch, both signs of more time and material being put into the glove. A laced heel and not sewn would be an upgrade in quality. A larger size model would be an upgrade over a smaller size youth model. Your glove appears to be an adult model. i think it was a good find. See if there is a model number at the heel in front and any endorsement on the pinky side of the heel. Try to locate a copy of the "Vintage Baseball Glove Catalog Source Book" from Joe Phillips at http://stores.ebay.com/thebaseballglovecollector The Source Book has all the info on glove brands taken from original equipment catalogs over the years. It is indispensable. Jim Daniels web site, http://www.baseballglovecollector.com is also indispensable in picturing collectors gloves and its library of PDF downloads. There is a glove just like yours in the Nokona section, the G10 "Larry Gilbert" model. Check it out.

because of the wear on it and writing, I'm guessing $25-$60. Nokona is a popular brand for collectors but the condition has to be strong to bring a better price, so unmarked with good factory stampings, supple blemish free leather, then closer to a bill for the glove. There are over 1000 vintage gloves on ebay at any one time to compete with. Definitely a buyers market right now. I would suggest perusing the repair/restoration section of this forum on cleaning the glove, make it look as good as possible, take good pictures and list it if you aim to sell the glove.

Thank you for the information, I was thinking of trying to clean it up a bit. But I have never worked with a glove this old before I guess I better do some reading up.
