Please help identify

Postby deebro041 » February 24th, 2012, 4:19 pm

I recently picked up this glove at a local auction. It was very stiff and dirty. I cleaned it up and could not find any markings or stampings to identify it.(nothing on the button either) It is a nice 3 finger glove with tunnel and lace web combo. It is a little small, probably a youth's glove. Can anyone please help me identify it?
Thanks for looking
Dan

For one thing, it looks like the lace through the fingers was done after the glove was manufactured (by the owner). That would be a good thing in a sense. It then becomes a pre-war three.

Looks like a Cooper Weeks glove.

You could be right Brett. I do live in Canada and there are lots of Cooper Weeks. I also thought maybe D&R(Dainault & Rolland).
Still a neat little glove.
