Wilson A3000

Postby softball66 » April 24th, 2007, 11:52 am

One of my least knowledgable areas is the Wilson A3000. Today, I understand it's a popular glove with Barry Bonds, Sheffield etc.
I never knew how it fit into the glove line at Wilson or when it first appeared. It's got that wide laced hinge on the snap action side. I picked up one yesterday, a "Pro Staff" USA for a righty and the price was right.
Nice shape, single vertical four horizontals. Pro staff on inside pinkie.
Anybody have thoughts on this. I'll try and get a shot made.

Joe

Does yours look like this one I had found back in January:

It 's a very well made glove - I've seen a couple on eBay but they don't do as well as their A2000 brothers. Don't know why, it's a great glove.

Same model except for Moses name on back and no "ex" on the thumb of mine.
You would think these A3000s would be more desirable since they're as well made and are rarer. Must be a popular model today.
