help identifying name

Postby softball66 » August 12th, 2011, 11:10 am

I have a Gambles 58DF5 with a signature name I cannot figure out. This is a double tunnel loop web. Unlaced fingers. Horsehide leather.
At first I thought it was "Joe Medwick" but have discarded that also thought Lon Warneke
the first name appears strongly to be Jimmie. The last name begins with a "Wa" or "Ma" follow by about four-five letters. any help will be appreciated if someone has a similar or seen a like glove.

Jimmy Wasdell? Just a guess. Can you post a photo? I love a good mystery.

Jimmy Wasdell I tried too. Still, the signature looks like Jimmie. I'll try to post an image shortly. It usually doesn't take me this long. The W in Wasdell's last name signature does not look the same. He does a funny thing with his "a". Not evident in this stamping.
