This 42-223 model is not very top-of-the line Spalding glove during this era at $28.50 in 1966 when the best Spalding gloves were going for $39.95. Rawlings was making the Spalding gloves at this time based on the Rawlings patterns and this might be more akin to the Rawlings XPG12 or XPG15 of that same period. The earlier Colavito Personal models of the early 1960s, such as the 42-204 were being used by the likes of Sandy Koufax and Whitey Ford., making that one a very desired glove by most collectors. Colavito was a very popular Cleveland player and this is not a weak glove. However it looks like it's in not in top shape from the images. Maybe worth between $25 and $50 in the right setting.
