Finally ! Maris comes home

Postby doubleSwitch » March 2nd, 2007, 9:44 pm

I swear after 4 years searching on Ebay and everywhere else. My Holy

Grail popped up on a "Buy It Now" From Ron @ The Sporting Addiction and

i did not hesitate one bit. Even with my wife's voice saying something in

the backround. " Were broke!!" Or something simular to that, Then i hit

that "Confirm Purchase?" Button and Walla ! 3 days later in my pennieless

little hands, my dream glove. :) i would rather smell the leather than eat

i told my wife. She said something else. well, i forgot what it was....Why

are there so few Maris Personal-Professional gloves out there? Maybe the

glove companies tried to captalize on the 61 deal in '61. Well enjoy the

photo's.....Mark http://www.flickr.com/photos/39521728@N00/?saved=1

Thank's Spdrunr, It was a very long search. I had seen other Maris

child and mass produced Autograph model gloves. Not many Maris Pro

or Personal model's out there. If there are, None of them are for sale.

This one will be kept. It took to long to find....Mark
