Davega Ruffing and TruSport Camilli

Postby smr1 » June 14th, 2009, 11:51 pm

Recently picked up these two gloves. The Ruffing (Davega) was an Ebay pick up and the Camilli (TruSport) was an antique store find.

Ruffing and Camilli

Postby smr1 » June 17th, 2009, 7:03 am

Thank you - okdoak. The stamping on the Ruffing is not as good as the Camilli glove. In fact, you can see the last few letters of Charles and the first couple letters of Ruffing. However, it was the first Davega glove that I was able to get, so I'm content.

My Davega Ruffing is worn the same way. It reads Chas...Ruff...
It's a 250 model. I bought it about a dozen years ago, but didn't start collecting gloves until about two months ago.

Thanks Scott - the glove is awesome as far as the condition of the leather. The number shown on my glove appears to by D79. The glove is also very large.

Yes yours looks really nice. Mine's a bit rougher and the leather is hard with some white areas on the back. I need to try and soften it up a bit.
