New Reach Crescent Mitt

Postby Rickybulldog » June 4th, 2009, 1:59 am

Had to share this Ebay win. Knew it had potential, but really happy with the results. I started to clean the back and had to ask my glove buds if I should continued (we all need a little encouragement). Well 3 outta 5 said leave as is, 1 had no vote, and one person said go for it. Although the one that said go for it didn't really encourage it, it was kinda more of what are you thinking and name calling. :D

Well unfortunately these little hands have a mind of their own and before I knew it I cleaned the front! I must say I actually liked how this big fatty mitt turned out. I think there's a tornado palm on the inside. I still may hit the front a few more times to get it lighter, but the front and back match much better than before. JD, your response came a little too late before I made the leap. Rob, my bud, I can always can count on you to give me that little push off the ledge! :D

Yep, looks great!

Yes, I was the supposed name-caller and claim the fifth as to whether or not name-calling is in my aresenal of motivational techniques. Here's what I actually said: "I like the look of the front, and I normally don't clean very many crescents, but in this case I don't think I'd leave it where the one side is clean but not the other. I'd start with just a light cleaning on the whole front, and then evaluate whether or not a second cleaning is necessary. The back looks good." Maybe a name was implied after the first sentence but then again maybe not. Again, I take the fifth.

Hey Ricky, I've used peroxide on writting before with good success if you want to take a crack at it. Anyone else ever tried it?

I've used it too Mike - sometimes it works well, other times, not so great.

Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore. I just figured I answered that a long time ago. Good luck!
