USA Wilson A2014 BALL HAWK

Picked up this very nice Wilson A2014. USA Single post with open back. 12", kinda like a smaller XLO. Love the Ball Hawk logo in the palm!

thats a nice looking glove. Whats the story behind the ballhawk? When was this glove made?

We know that you meant to type A2014, not A2104. I just picked up an older A2014 (which I adore) and it's a completely different glove. Different dimensions, different web, pretty much everything.

The hinge area is interesting--I like it. And I always love a single-post web!

Have you played catch with it yet? I've seen a few of these on eBay over the last few years. One was a BIN that I thought about pulling the trigger on, but then I looked over and saw my wife reading....:shock:

First Time

That's a first for me on seeing a "Hawk" on the Ballhawk Wilson. I think that's neat. Sort of brought back that 1940s phrasing and stamping.
Isn't that hinge the same used on the A3000? Large spread and 4-5 lacing in between the break.
