Picked these up a few days ago. Its a shame someone wrote their name on the Spalding, it is sooooo soft even inside with absolutly not a single flaw to the interior. An intersting thing with the Spalding is the full web is one piece of leather that is doubled over instead of the single strip like I am used to seeing. I would guess it was at one point one of their high end models due to the overall quality of the glove. The D&M has some chafing to the interior, but it is still very nice with a perfect patch and no tears. This one is soft as well and is probably my earliest D&M I am thrilled to add a nice Whitey to my collection, they always look great when displayed. I would put the D&M somewhere around 1905-10 please correct me if I am wrong
