PIAS find

Postby Thudhugger » January 17th, 2008, 12:05 am

I went to my grandson's first birthday party last weekend and just happened to walk into the PIAS in Orem Utah. This is the present that Grandpa got to take home with him.http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa70/thudhugger/PRO-FB008.jpg
I'll post some other pictures shortly.

Here are the other pictures. I don't normally collect modern era gloves but for $40.00 I couldn't pass it up. Any info on this model PRO-FB would be greatly appreciated.

The glove cleaned up nicely although the dark discoloration on the leather I had hoped would lighten up more (or go away altogether) but it is a really hearty looking and feeling glove.

Nice find Thudhugger! I frequent the Orem PIAS about once a month and all I ever come across is over priced synthetic piping gloves. Looks like I'll have to visit more often.

I'll get the PRO-H pixs up late tonight (Class till 10:00p.m.). Also Kenyon, The good glove are hanging above the register not at the back wall. They had a nice Nokona and a Spanding Colavito that needed relacing. I think there was a Wilson as well but I'm not sure. Most of them were First Base mitts as I recall.

I was also pleased to find that they sell 6' lengths of laces, I haven't been able to get those here in Idaho.

Cheers
