Everlast Bob White?

Postby ScottWNJ » August 2nd, 2009, 10:25 pm

Found this in an antique store today. Needs a good cleaning, but leather is soft and flexible. Nice cloth tag and thick piping. Model number is 1445 and the endorsement is Bob White in script. Haven't found any Bob White's in the majors, so he was probably a minor leaguer.

I really like those early 50's gloves with the X lacing through the tops of the fingers. Thumb endorsements are cool as well.

The thumb endorsement is nice, but the "Genuine Cowhide" stamped on the pinky is large enough to be seen from outer space!
