Burker72 has a thread under General Glove Discussion called '...glove revitalization contest'. VERY helpful info.

I've seen a few on eBay over the years. If memory serves, this may be "import" gloves- made overseas and then sold in the states. If you look over the glove, you should find a country of origin listed somewhere, perhaps on the cloth label on the wrist strap (if there is one).

Beginning in the 1950's, there were literally hundreds of foreign glove companies importing their products. This influx of cheap foreign products led to the demise of many of the domestic glove makers.

Unfortunately, there isn't much historical information on these many off-shore companies. Much of the glove collecting hobby is dedicated to "Made in the USA" gloves and much of the historical data is derived from retail catalogs published by domestic sporting goods companies.
