Hey folks!
A new member from Tennessee.
I've been a baseball fan since I was six. Always have loved the fit and feel of a good baseball glove. My first was a old Rawlings RBG36 that was given to me by a gentleman who ran our local recational baseball league. At that time, most of us didn't have our own glove and he would collect used gloves to give to the kids at the beginning of baseball season. He told me that the RBG36 was still a good glove with a lot of catches left in it. He was right... served me well for years. I wish that I had it today.
Currently, working garage sales and flea markets to pick up Rawlings gloves and mitts who need a good home. I am trying to learn all that I can about the history of each model that I have in my collection. Always on the look out for tips on cleaning, care, conditioning, and storage of older leather gloves. Not really into trading or selling... like I say, I am really only interested in giving well crafted glove a good home.
I look forward to participating in the forum.
Have a nice one.
