There were many variations of the Bill Doak gloves issued between 1922 and 1952.
This list is from the glove collecting price guide:
1922-1930: Original version (simply called the Bill Doak)
1931-1938: The Improved Bill Doak
1932-1934: Doak Kenworthy
1934-1941: H-3 and 3-F models (3-finger gloves)
1932-1952: H-model
1932-1943: J-model
1945-1949: 5BD-model
If you go through the catalog data year-by-year, you can even find some variations from that general list. Additionally, Rawlings would sometimes produce Doak models for other sporting goods retailers and those might be labeled a bit differently.
The various models represented larger or smaller gloves, long or short fingers, different web styles and various colors of leather.
If you check out "ebbets55" vintage glove gallery web site, there are a couple of dozen different Doak gloves on display.
