Ripken Gamer at HOF

I was up at cooperstown last week and came across something pretty interesting about Ripken's last gamer. Not sure if anyone knew this or not, but when Ripken moved to 3rd, he was using a glove with the triple bar web at third base (like that of a PROCFC). Interestingly, it was his same PRO-6HF, but he had extra holes punched in it to put in a different webbing. Ill try and get some pics of this up as soon as I can.

I would love to see pictures of Ripken's game glove. It is interesting that he modified the web of his glove when he moved to third base. I wonder how many other pros modify their gloves? I remember reading (maybe in this forum?) about how Brooks Robinson, another Oriole third baseman, would keep a favorite Rawlings as long as he could, modifying the webs to make them tighter. He said he preferred an "H" or open web, because it was easier to tighten up.
