Found this early 1900’s laced heel on eBay. Anyone, please chime in on what you may think the years of make are, maker, and other thoughts. The mitt has a faint crescent, reformed pocket that is double stitched, rivet edge, laced heel and interesting web design. Any and all thoughts appreciated.
Thanks,
Hal

I’m by no means an expert on this stuff like a few others that may chime in on this one are....but my first thoughts are D&M or Victor, based on seeing other similar examples, owning a few, and also looking on JD’s website. Seems like the type of buckle back strap and shape that both those companies often used and has a lot of the same style stitching patterns, etc. it’s roughly a TOC mitt, 1900-1910 I’d say. Cool mitt, good pickup, maybe it’ll even clean up a bit for ya;). Good luck on the hunt for some more!!

Thank you for your “expert” opinion! I have 10 laced heel mitts and have become somewhat obsessed with their design. Always in the hunt.
Take care
