I recently picked up this exc condition Wilson #555SBN-?? , 11/45 dated US Army glove. Are these hard to come by and collectible?
Thank you for the help.

For military gloves, it’s all about the stampings. Your glove is in close to near mint condition with great silver stampings so I’d say it’s a keeper. They’re not that hard to come by, especially Wilson gloves, but getting them in this kind of condition is, especially with no ink. Also, the type of stamping makes a difference as well. USN and Special Services are more collectible than U.S., U.S.A, or U.S. Army stampings. In the end though, if you’re a military glove collector, a glove in this kind of condition, no matter which stamping it has, is a welcomed find.
