Possibly, although people can stack their chips up and avoid the Ebay/Paypal Fees. We'll see. Maybe do a trial run.

We are live at 5:00 PST. Getting bouncebacks and delays from certain ISP's thinking I'm a prolific spammer. Go here now for the list:

Kudos to JD for setting this up for all the glove porn/glove eye candy I could handle last night. Appreciate your hard work and labor of love Ebbets55.

Thank you RBD. Appreciate it. Happy to do it. It is a labor of love.

It was a frantic & furious few hours from 5:00 to about 11:00ish and then again this morning. We moved a lot of leather last night. Made for a fun night. At one point, I had about 50 unread texts that I just ignored for awhile cuz I couldn't take my hands off the keyboard as I was just responding to and forwarding e-mails in order. Sorry for the delays in replying to the texts but email always trumps texts on Glove Night.

For the record, the single most asked about glove last night was #1 on the list, Mike's George Burns Ken Wel NeveRip model. Man that was a beauty. Congrats to the buyer. Mike, FYI, you could've sold that one 12 times and skipped town. : )

And the George Burns Ken Wel just arrived! So happy to add this one to the collection. Thank you, Mr. Tinney. And Mr. Mayor (JD) for doing another phenomenal job on the sales list! Time for another list?

Niiice. Such a cool glove.

I plan on doing something similar in a week or two. It should be fun and allow some of you big spenders to recoup or just have some play money. :)

Hello All,

Wednesday 7/15 at 5:00 PM PST I plan to get the ball rolling on the glove selling experiment similar to the one that the Net54 board members did with cards. The overall goal is to get some more activity on the forum and have a little fun. I will start 2 threads (List a glove you would sell for $125-$550, and a $551+ thread for the heavy hitters). I plan to post these in the B/S/T section so that it doesn't clog up the main board. I will include the rules in the two threads on Wednesday. Here's to a little fun and good luck with your sales.

The rules are:

*You can list 1-2 gloves in the category. Once you sell a glove, you can list another one and the process continues. Sellers please keep your submission current and let the board know if the item is sold.

*Please provide a short description and pictures of the glove(s) for sale. Don't forget to INCLUDE THE PRICE in your description. Include your email in the description if you feel comfortable. Buyers can contact you through email (clicking the mail icon or listed email) or posting "I'll take it" in the thread reply.

*Sellers pay attention to email/reply post time stamps to keep dealings on the level.

*Price glove(s) including shipping. *Note: Some collectors live outside the USA, so price accordingly.

*Payment by PayPal (Friends & Family option) is the preferred method of payment among many glove collectors and hobbyists but that is up to each respective seller. Remember, if you have your PayPal account connected to your bank account as the funding source (or if you have funds in your PayPal account), there are no fees to send money. If you have your PayPal account connected to your credit card, there may be a fee to send money.

Just want a little feedback before I post tomorrow.

As a seller do you prefer a set number for the thread (for example list a glove you would sell for $550) or would you prefer a value range to list (example $125-$550)?

Curious on people's thoughts.

As a buyer and seller I think it’d be fun to do just a single price point

Thanks for the reply. I took into account several of my glove friend's opinions and have modified the following. We can always update or use different values as we go along in a few months. All the new info is in red.

Wednesday 7/15 at 5:00 PM PST I plan to get the ball rolling on the glove selling experiment similar to the one that the Net54 board members did with cards. The overall goal is to get some more activity on the forum and have a little fun. I will start 2 threads (List a glove you would sell for $375, and $600). I plan to post these in the B/S/T section so that it doesn't clog up the main board. I will include the rules in the two threads on Wednesday. Here's to a little fun and good luck with your sales.

The rules are:

*You can list 1-2 submissions in the category. You can sell a bundle (1 submission) for the set price point as well. For example, a package of 3 gloves at 600. Once you sell a glove/submission, you can list another one and the process continues. Sellers please keep your submission current and let the board know if the item is sold.

*Please provide a short description and pictures of the glove(s) for sale. It is important to provide glove measurements (whether it is adult, midline, youth).

Let's do another one. In trying to keep with the two a year schedule, it's about that time again. Anyone who wants to participate, please start getting your glove pics, descriptions and prices to me as the World Series will be upon us before we know it. Thanks.

JD

P.S. - Already received a handful of submissions - holy $#%& !!!

We are on for Thursday evening 4/1 at 5:00 PST. By now, we all know that certain ISP's delay delivery of the e-mail, so just go to the site and pull it down directly.
