Even though an auction house revised the description, this cut off web Reach glove was still titled a workmans style glove. I believe it to be circa 1908-15 based on the patent features. It sold for $530

Seemed like a good BIN at first for $40. It's an extended pocket model from OK mfg. They made a DiMaggio model. This one is not that. It's the softball version with the dual pocket stitching.

Another BIN was this 1940's Ripon ambi glove. Originally set at $1800, I think it sold sold for $1100-$1300. I didn't know Ripon made different models, leather or cloth piping. This one has the cloth piping.

Then there's the "bunny ears" model base mitt. Like a nice older home that has good bones, this BM95 Nokona was a top of the line mitt circa 1949. But in the hands of a sorcerers apprentice, this is what we get. There some magic here for sure and a great story. All yours for $349.

"This baseman's mitt was obviously taken out of the Nokona glove factory in Nocona, Texas prior to completion. Take a look at this beauty, the leather is perfect, the stampings are perfect, the stitching is perfect. The lacing was never completed, and, while the leather on the wrist strap was prepped for it, the Nokona tag was never sewn on! (Be sure and see photos for all of the unique features of this mitt). Three letters are scratched into the leather under the wrist strap, RDX. Could that mean Research, Development, eXperimental? Possibly, who knows?"

Only a few hours left on this BIN. Just a super mitt. You can't go wrong with the "Strong the Thumb" trademark!

There are wide wrist straps and then there are wwwide wrist straps. This glove from ebay is an OCHCO Brand. That stands for Oklahoma City Hardware Co. The glove is endorsed by Earl Averill. Possibly a Denkert made glove. It is $295 if anyone is interested.

A rare Spalding model 554 mitt sold as a BIN for $20. A top of the line mitt circa 1940. Features the Seamless Thumb design. It looks kind of shabby but with a little refurbishing and sorting out the T-bar web it could be a keeper.

Poor picture taking but the triple lock web and outside finger loop give it away. It's a 1961 Wilson A2000 "Shooting Star" model glove. It actually looks in really good shape. It sold as a BIN for $40.
