That's interesting, Mike. It was neat to find this photo awhile back, as an old Milwaukee Braves fan. Then I picked up this Spalding Whitey Ford PM without the TraPocket stamping. Hmm...
I happened across this full page ad from 1957. At the bottom is a tiny ad for a Rawlings "Royal Label" Turtle Back catchers mitt. I'm familiar with the Lopata and Lollar models but not this one. Below is an example of the Royal Label LMX Model. It's pretty nice, top of the line in its day.
