A friend recently gave me a Rawlings Marty Marion G600 Mister Shortstop glove. It has laced finger ,but the label is black with Rawlings in yellow or gold. What year is this glove from and any other details would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The black/yellow Rawlings tags were used for items sold in 1958 - I believe it was the 60th anniversary celebration for Rawlings

Rawlings sold the G600 Marty Marion glove from the mid-40's all the way up until 1959. Aside from the 1948 black and gold anniversary patch, they were all red patches. But the red patch design itself changes throughout the years.

The one in your picture is known as the Rawlings "cloud" patch and was used from the mid-40's to 1949.
