Babe Ruth glove

Postby hal barth » June 23rd, 2013, 12:12 pm

My question is: Did Montgomery Ward sell a Babe Ruth model baseball glove? I have a period glove which has a player's name that is hard to read. It looks like the first 2 letters are Ba, right above the words trade mark in the palm...Any help will be appreciated. I have searched my sources and have not found this particular Ruth glove....

I am sorry, but I am not able to upload a photo..I am limited to 256 KIB and the attachment will not enable...My glove is just like yours which is pictured except the webbing is the tunnel with lacing...I will keep trying to upload photos....

Great glove Hal and correct HAND!
Do we suspect who made these gloves? Spalding / Reach? :?:
