Looks to be from the late 1930's or early 1940's

Yeah, I looked through all the Reach catalogs searching for that model number and couldn't find it. I would have placed it into the 40's and maybe even the late 40's or early 50's as my first guess. Reach catalogs appeared all through the 50's (albeit Reach, Wright & Ditson). Thanks for sharing.

I think i find the 232 Reach Catchers mitt in the 1942 catalog as the "Autograph" at $4.25 near the bottom of the line pricing.
