Nokona G49 US Army

Postby Jerry J » March 18th, 2012, 8:16 pm

Late last night decided to do some cleaning on some gloves that I have found and thanks to the info on this forum all is well. The one I didn't really see any markings on was this Nokona glove. After cleaning I could faintly see what looked like Professional Model on the pinky. When I was rubbing in some vpj I notice a G that was pretty good and a 9 the 4 was real faint. Decided to do some research and thanks to Jim Daniel's collection "Baseball Glove Colletor" I was able to trace down what I had. Here is the before and after pictures and the final display. I know this isn't the best glove it almost looks like a dog got a hold of it and the dreaded black intials. :D

Nice looking gloves. Thanks for sharing the photos. Can't wait to see it in a couple more months as the addiction sets in!
