Charlie Carr was a major league first baseman at the turn of the century with a variety of teams with his best season in 1903 with Detroit. He ended his career with the Indianapolis Hoosiers in 1914. here is an article from a 1911 Indianapolis newspaper regarding his sporting goods business venture, Charles C. Carr Manufacturing Co.
