Guardian Brand baseball gloves

Guardian Brand was the house brand of Buhl, Sons Co. of Detroit, a long time hardware wholesaler since the 1880's.
The name "Guardian" may have come from the landmark Guardian Building in Detroit.
Here is a 1939 catalog page featuring the Guardian Brand fielders gloves.
here is a photo of a Guardian "Youngster's Model" that just closed on ebay. Notice the die-cut web.
