OK MFG Co. and Sonnett Online Museum

I've been working on getting this ready for awhile and even though I'm not close to completion, I figured it was time to make it live. I'll be posting more pictures of items from my collection to go along with the ones that are already up and the history of the company.

Great work and a wonderful addition to your site. I don't think I knew anything about the brand before you introduced me to it. Between your site and William Sonnett being on the forum, there's a lot of info about the company that I would have otherwise never known. Kudos.

Great history of OK-Sonnett, Brett! I didn't know that Mr. Sonnett got his start with Goldsmith. Man, he must have put in 20 hour days when he started his company, making and selling his products. Also had no idea that they made so many innovative glove styles until I saw all the different models that you've posted.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep adding pictures but I'm going to try and only post the best of the best, especially for gloves because I have so many.

I always assumed that the last year Sonnett produced gloves was for the 1967 season. I recently picked up a 1968 catalog and it included this notice, confirming my suspicions.

Thought you'd enjoy seeing these photos sent to me by Bill Sonnett. These are murals that were painted inside the factory in Ada - one is the entrance hallway and the other is the meeting room. Bill says that unfortunately Wilson has them covered with wood paneling currently - hopefully they will see the light of day again.
