What a Shame

Postby drasher81 » March 27th, 2007, 11:44 am

I mentioned in a previous post that I had a really great pro back Made in the USA A2000 XLC that had a run in with a dog. I dug it out of storage and decided to post a few pics to see what the general consensus would be if it was repairable or not even to bother. I dont even think it could be fixed it would need alot of help I think. It breaks the heart to see it like this.

WHOA! First thought was that scene from Jaws where Quint slides down that back of that boat and, well, ya know. See if there's a shark tooth snagged in the lining..?

yiiiiikes.....it's like a gruesome car accident, you can't hardly look but then you can't turn away either :p

if KJ or glove doc can fix that, it will be quite the miracle!

Perhaps you could have it cut down and turned into a conventional back with a new strap. New piping and a full or partial reline should make it useable. One things for sure, no one else will have one like it!

that would be pretty cool to see it turned into a conventional back, i bet that's the best fix for what looks like a nice shell of a glove.
