Draper Maynard Gloves in the Hands of. . .

Curiously, I found in one of my library books a re-print copy of the 1917 Baseball Program for the World Series that year featuring the Chicago White Sox and the New York Giants.
A full page ad from the Drapery-Maynard Co. has the following information:
"The Lucky Dog of the Series" (logo/headline)
It is on the glove or Mitt of EVERY ONE of

The New York Giants
and has found its way on to the hands of the following
White Sox
players; ---
Jackson, Cicotte, Schalk, Faber, Felsch,Williams, Gandil, McMullen Wolfgang,Benz, Scott, Risse;;. Danforth. (not in that order)
We will not guarantee you will ever be as good a player as any one of these men but we can give you the same kind of a glove or mitt.
Why handicap your natural ability with a substitute? These men don't."
We can assume Eddie Collins was wearing a Reach but what about "Buck" Weaver?
We might sum this series up as Lucky Dog Gloves and a few future Black Socks.

Red Faber won three games for the Sox as they won in six games.
The Giant players included Buck Herzog, Art Fletcher, Jim Thorpe and Ross Youngs among others.
