Spalding 221-73

Postby coachgrumpy » March 19th, 2007, 2:00 pm

I recently purchased a Spalding glove from ebay. Model 221-73 stamped at the top, the words "Put Out" stamped in script near the heel of the palm. It is a buckle-back and looks like an oven-mitt. The photo on ebay made it look moldy, but it cleaned right off.

Where are some sources of information on this glove? I've been googling the web and could only find a photo from an auction. I was curious as to the time-frame of manufacture. This glove does not have any webbing on it and no signs that there was ever any on it.

Thanks,

Would it be possible to post some pictures of the glove? If so, I'm sure we'll be able to help you out.
