Info re: glove value

Postby JC » May 22nd, 2006, 7:49 pm

I found a couple of new, old-stock gloves today.

Any comments on value would be appreciated

1) Rawlings PRO 6, Made in USA, Horween leather, Left throw

2) Mizuno World Win, Made in USA, Not sure of model number, but it looks to be a 12.5" glove, H web, Left hand throw

Thanks.

Left handed gloves

JC - Sounds like a couple of nice finds, but it has been my experience that left handed gloves (the newer ones) don't sell as well as right handed gloves.

Both top of the line gloves and these do well on interenet sales as guys like 'em for playing gloves. Cracker Bat is right in that left handed gloves don't do as well because there are fewer left hand throwers in the world.
Condition will play a big part in value. If they've got some good life left in the gloves, they should do pretty well, $50 range would be a start.

The store wants $125 each.

The World Win is really nice. If I were a lefty, this would definitely become my gamer!
