Walter Johnson mystery glove

This is my first 'post' in several weeks; I purchased a Walter Johnson-endorsed glove,
where the facsimile endorsement is a 'ringer' for the D and M Johnson endorsement.

Two interesting features of this glove--unlike the D and M Walter Johnson gloves I've
seen in this forum, there is no D and M "logo" above Johnson's fax endorsement on
the palm; also, the model number is clearly "G 0", which I cannot find listed as a D and M
in my Joe Phillips' 1996 Glove Catalog Source Book.

Can anyone "shed some light" on this well-constructed, adult-sized, Walter Johnson

The Glove Finder Book shows Johnson with a D&M G30, G30D, which are close to your "G 0" Just a guess but since the D&M Logo is missing and, with the Dog that's a pretty sizable Brand, maybe the "3" is missing or obscured. From 1928 forward, for instance, the G30 (G30D) is a Walter Johnson Jr. model which might be a youth glove for D&M. Little oddities happen with the manufacturers too. I know D&M made gloves for other companies, like Winchester. G 0 Doesn't look like a Goldsmith CP or K or Horace Partridge 1M though.

Joe, thanks (once again) for your insight; it is definitely a "GO", and it has a strap of leather covering the
thumb seam, as well as what appears to be an "H" web and lacing; nicely made, appears to be adult-sized;
next time I have some time, I'll attempt to post photos--
