not sure what the objective is with sellers that put these ridiculous buy it now options on gloves. i just think its funny, i sold this mitt to the seller for no more than $30, which I thought fetched a great price, however he thinks its worth $750.

I think it's done in the hopes of receiving a lower, but, still profitable offer. Another example - there was softball listed on ebay recently with a $2200 (yes, $2200) BIN. It sold for an astounding $850.
