A Friend of the Glove Collecting Community - Don Millington

Postby crackofthebat » July 29th, 2009, 4:42 pm

Many of you collectors who have been in the hobby for a number of years have probably traded, sold, or bought gloves from Don Millington. A true gentleman and friend of the hobby, Don has helped many new comers get started with glove collecting. Don just underwent triple bypass surgery at Toledo Hospital today. Please take a minute or two and drop him a postcard or card to help speed his recovery. His home address is:
Don Millington
731 Wind Breeze Dr.
Toledo, OH 43615
Thanks!

I've not had a better friend in the hobby than Don and we've shared many a great story. Honest as the day's long and straight forward, I've missed his
more recent participation greatly because of his illness.
Yes, please do drop him a note. A great friend of our hobby!

Don is a helluva guy. In my rookie days of collecting he was always accessible and friendly and took the time to deal with me. He sold me a bunch of gloves of which I still cherish. I always looked up to him.

I wish you the best Don and pray for a speedy recovery.
