Has anyone seen on one of the early 1900s full web gloves a pattern of 20 or 30 tiny holes in the web, factory-made and in a discernable pattern? When I first saw this I thought there had been a patch on the back of the web that had been removed, leaving the holes. I had one glove expert say he'd seen this on a top-of the- line glove and thought maybe it was placed there to give that sewn web a little more flexiblity.
