our's but to do or die. . .
I've often been intrigued at times of the obscure names that show up on gloves. Jim "Ebbetts" Daniel and I have been compiling various lists of the tough gloves.
One of these in my meager assembly just showed up as I was digging thru. Yes, you all remember Linc Blakely. What's that? No?
Linc got in 34 games with Cincinnati in 1934. That's not even a whiff aroma of mountain grown coffee. Yet here's his signature stamped into this Horeshide (Genuine it says) glove of mine. Can't read much more than the name and Horsehide but assume it's a low-end Goldsmith. Nice shape though and one of the gloves I'm about to trade if glove dude wants it.
