Has anyone seen a Ted Williams Western glove model g1335. This was not listed as a western auto glove, just a western glove. I can not find this particular model no in the source book, only model no's 1332, and 1334.

This glove sold for $225 at a local auction....to much for my blood.....any other thoughts.

Wilson Western

Postby softball66 » November 10th, 2008, 7:01 pm

In the early '20s Thomas Wilson Co. and an outfit, Western Sporting Goods Co., joined forces and both brands were used supposedly up until 1931 but I've seen the Western brand on some later 1930s gloves probably such as your Ted Williams. So its a Wilson made glove, probably using the Western name to sell to some older companies that were used to selling Western products and not those of the Wilson name. Just a hunch
