I have one of these- I like to pick up gloves from the Ohio-based glove companies.
It's a rather small and cheaply-made glove, below "mid-priced" when it sold new. The three-finger design is a typical early-to-mid 1950's style.
Not a bad little piece of leather, but nowhere near the quality of high-end three-finger gloves like the top-line Rawlings Playmakers.
There isn't much historical or catalog data available for Hutch. Their 1956 catalog lists a 33X model endorsed by Jerry Priddy (kind of strange, since his career ended in 1953, but not uncommon in the early days of glove endorsements). My glove has no player endorsement.
The 1956 33X is listed at $6.65, while Hutch's top-line gloves were selling for around $20- an indication that the 33X is a much lower quality glove.
But, it's still an old glove that has survived the years...so it's cool!
