Vintage Glove Room

Postby vintagebrett » October 25th, 2008, 3:02 pm

When my wife and I bought our house this summer I was very excited to have my very own glove room. I've been working on it when I have free time (and money) for the past two months. It's going to be a permanent work in process but I thought I'd show what I've done so far. Big thanks to my dad who is the master craftsman that constructed the shelving and Sonnett glove tree. Yes, the two walls are dedicated to OK MFG and Sonnett equipment and items.

Nicely done Brett! I may have to borrow that glove stacking idea on the shelves. I wasn't smart enough to think of that myself.

Hey Fred- I'm putting in my order for a glove tree- Lemme know when I can pick it up :) -Mark

I've been trying to acquire a Nokona tree for years. had a couple deals lined up and Sellers flaked out both times. A Lowman Special will do just fine

Hi Brett, Cool job on the glove room. I hope you and your family are enjoying your new home. It is fun to be able to devote a room to your hobby. I have a den in which I have made some glove lofts for the old leathers and I have not regretted having spent the time and effort for making them. As I recall you had gotten the cool glassed in stackable shelves and they are very nice fory your displays. Cool leathers. Oh, the room also has a hide a bed couch for when my oldest son and his wife and baby come to visit. :)

Those are some jaw dropping gloves and bats, beautifully displayed! And here I was thinking it would just be "OK" (very bad pun intended, ouch). Amazing!!!
